Am i right in thinking the clio has an offset of ET68?

Would a set of wheels with an ET35 offset be far to off?

I noticed someone has fitted some Cades alloys that are an ET45 and yeah the portrude a little but not crazy?

Only problem is there 18" although would prefer 17" as im on the H&R -40mm springs so im definately thinking with an ET35 offset and lowering on 18s i think there will be arch rubbing??

Thanks

I would imagine your going to struggle with ET35 on 18" to be honest, 33mm is quite a pit of poke.

I wouldn't go anything over 20mm (at a PUSH 25mm) with lowering springs and larger wheels.

I wonder if i could get away with an ET35 on a 17" rim?

As 33mm doesnt seem that much when u consider how far inwards the standard wheels sit in the arches.

Maybe a 40 profile tyre or even 205 rather than 215 might work.

ET45 on a 7.5J rim is really as far as you want to go, beyond that whatever tyre you use the arch will likely chew into the tyre over bumps or hard cornering.
