Wheel colour change and refurb

I know azure197 has just posted a recent thread on this but I have a glacir 197 with black speedlines...they need a good refurb and so I want a colour change too. I was thinking about keeping them black but having more of a gloss shine finish (a bit like corsa vxr black wheel finish...sorry ha) but I would be open to any other suggestions!

Also if anyone is a dab hand at photoshop there is a side on picture of my car in my profile, stick a few different colours on the wheels to help me make my mind up.

Much appreciated

I'm getting mine done soon, not sure about gloss or matt black.

Decisions!

I like the idea of a bit of shine but gloss shows up blemishes much more.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, I might jus get them done in white, but not too sure about white speedlines on a glacier, anyone know of one, or a thread with pics of one?

Mike Roberts is it I think has a thread with white on white.

It looks pretty cool tbh, I'm only going for black as my car's pearl so pure white would look odd :\

Could you not get a very dark anthracite...charcoal maybe?

If not I vote for gloss black but then I am biased, even if they are a pain to keep looking nice!

charcoal looks porn on black mate. when i went into the wheel specialist took 1 to my car and they looked awesome but i wanted to stay original for the road. silent assasin n all that lol

they do special finishes now like black sparkle. that looks awesome

Comments are much appreciate but I'm still no nearer to a decision! I'd like to have the balls to do something completely different, I've seen red wheels on a cup racer, with red roof and red spolier, but just dont think this could be pulled off on the road.

Anyone with the photoshop skills?

White on white is full of awesomeness. Well, when I haven't been rallying and it's clean that is...

If you really want something different the I would say metallic blue. I think that would look nuts on a white car.

If you want something more low-key then you are limited to black, white or any grey inbetween. Going for a light grey (storm grey) would be different but less in-your-face. Other than that I would recommend Anthracite.

OK cool, feeling the ideas, that white on white does look nice, liking the idea of metallic blue or something. The guy thats doing them reckons he's a whiz on paintshop so I'll upload some pics! x

I get bored, but it would be cool to have wheels that changed colour themselves :tongueout:

Thats brilliant and has actually given me a couple of ideas, what is the sort of off green colour and then the following colour after that, looks a bit like charcoal?

It was an attempt at a kind of gloss racing green and the grey is indeed sort of a gun metal charcoal colour it's probably similar to:

I'm surprised no one has done a red colour like that in the images, it matches the tail lights and looks pretty spiffing imo
