What an evening

Coming home from work this evening (from Medway). Going down the same stretch of dual carriageway for the past 4 years everyday.

Just on the slip road about to head onto the A2 towards Dartford / bluewater. And a car came from the right of me heading backwards and landed in front of me.

Hit the brakes and just managed to swerve out the way. Pulled onto the hard shoulder and told my other half to call 999.

By this point I have seen the big lorry that had stopped on the slip road hash markings. Went over to the car (corsa) and made sure the lady driver was ok.

Lorry driver was fine. And by this point a few other passers by and got out to help.

Then the highway patrol peeps turned up and blocked the road off, and we managed to push the car to the hard shoulder.

Spoke to the patrol peeps and made sure all was ok and off i went.

From what i can make out, the lorry hit the car and made the car go through the barrier backwards onto the slip road.

Lucky escape there mate!!! For everyone involved by the sounds of things.

Cars generally don't hold up well when they bounce off a truck.

Cars are replaceable mate, you're not!!!
