A help request please.
I had a bit of a problem with my Clio III 200 yesterday. It seems to have been attacked by an animal. Whatever it was chewed though the hinge holding the screen wash lid on, as it had vanished when I lifted the bonnet, no drama; but the damn thing also nibbled at the fuel line!
I now have a fine mist of VPower spraying out when the engine's running. Not only rather dangerous, the vapour in the cabin becomes overpowering very quickly. The repair seems like a very simple removal of the fuel line from the inner wing join to the injector rail.
Although it looks like the injector rail end might require special tools to remove it. Can anyone let me know if tools are required, or it clips. Also, if it will be as simple as replacing the fuel line from the break by the inner wing to the injector rail.
If the ignition isn't on, the system shouldn't be under pressure either, so fuel shouldn't pour out when disconnected. Or am I very wrong there?
Many thanks.
