Tunepoint Retrofitting - Renault Mistake!

I recently picked up my new 200, I ordered it with the Renaultsport Monitor pack which includes Tunepoint & bluetooth. However when I picked the car up last Thursday I noticed the USB port was missing from down by the cupholders, however the 2 AUX inputs are there as normal.

I queried it with the dealer and Renault UK have admitted it's wrong and have agreed to fit the car with the Tunepoint including the USB, only thing is they're saying they can't fit it behind the little door by the cupholders, it'll have to be fitted in the glovebox (bit annoying!).

I'd much rather it be fitted where it should be but they're telling me it's not possible. Has anyone ever had Tunepoint retrofitted to their car where the standard AUX inputs are?

Id be happier with the ipod in the glovebox out the way tbh

I agree. you don't need to see / touch the ipod anyway.

I think what he means is that the tune point they are going to fit is the box type with all the cabling etc, rather than the built in one, it wouldn't be a case of having your iPod on show etc as there is a USB on it too.
