Steering rack wobble

Hi guys,

My 197 is under going a massive service ,

Including new clutch and clutch bearing 2 clutch pumps (it started there really , One of them was leaking) , Suspension top mount and some other stuff...

So while she is there , I thought of taking a look of another annoying issue.

I've got a Steering wheel wobble. :worried:

It's mainly felt on a standstill, and it can't be heard from the outside of the car , no squeaks or grinds of any kind..
I also replaced Suspension hubs, Suspension link rods and stabilizing rod , since someone bumped in to the left wheel when the car was parked on a narrow street (with the wheel turned, Never again will I leave it like that !!) and broke all of that off so it's not that.

I would imagine it's the Height adjustment mechanism, The steering is sort of fine , but the housing moves and wobbles slightly with a knocking noise.

It's not the end of the world I guess , but what can it be?

The Previous owner took the housing apart to paint it black for some reason , maybe it's as simple as that?

Drives me crazy!!
I can upload a short video tomorrow when I'm at the garage if needed.

Thanks in advance!
