Hey my new filter came today so was going to take the airbox out to get template made up for the custom box I'm hopefully getting round to doing, just a quick question is the battery needed to be moved to get the airbox out? I will prob remove it anyway I was just wondering as my socket set is miles away?

I don't think you'll have to take the battery out to remove the main part of the Airbox but you WILL need to take it out to get at the resonator box which sits underneath the battery tray just behind the passenger headlight... Well, sort of behind it, you'll see it if you look down the front of the battery.
It's an absolute pig to remove! You'll need to take the battery out, there's not enough clearance between the battery and bulkhead to get it out with the battery in place.
