Spraying inlet manifold...

Im looking into giving the inlet manifold a change of colour.

How would i go about prepping it for spraying?
Also it will be VHT paint im using.

You wont need VHT paint for that, i've used normal hammerite to paint blocks before and it never came off.

VHT is good because you dont need primer. I find it's best to wash with alloy wheel cleaner and a brush, jetwash, then dry with a blow heater or heat gun. that will give you a good dry and clean surface
