Serious tyre recommendations needed (road legal)

Hi all my cups going to need some new tyres up front shortly and I need to choose well, any one got any suggestions on some grippy boots that will pass an mot and not destroy my bank account, I had Yokohama parada spec II on my 172 and found them excellent but unfortunately they don't do them in the right size for the 197 cup wheels and I'm not sure i want to mess with the profile of the tyres just so I can get the ones I used to like

All depends on what budget you have mate. A few threads here on track and road tyres, iv got feds rsrs for 85 each and can't fault them!

Depends on budget but you can't go far wrong with AD08's or 595's..

Or Potenza RE070s. Only available in 225 though.
