Safety precautions?: removing recaros

Hi there, I am possibly doing a swap with someone this weekend for his yellow recaros. I currently have the standard black ones.

Any safety precautions required when doing this?
Or would it be ok to just unplug the old ones plug in the new ones? or should i remove battery etc...

Also am I likely to have lights come up on my dash after?

There is a tread for this but I think you disconnect the battery 30mins before

If your meeting up i would defo make sure the T40 bolts are easy to loosen before you set of and before you start the swap disconnect the battery.No Airbag light should come on if you are just swapping Recaros for Recaros.

Couldn't meet up with josh this weekend as the BRC media event I was attending got cancelled due to the snow

if it was me, i would disconnect the battery.

last thing you want is uber expensive airbags going off!
