Gutted to see that scrape on your wing

Nice to hear you've got the gearbox sorted.

Our 200 has led a charmed life since I bought the CRV to use as a daily in October.
I think between the Porsche and the 200 we've done about 1200 miles lol

And about 8k on the old truck

Not a bad idea to put it in storage for a while.
Desirable colour, right seats in it etc - should minimise depreciation.

Couple more years and the price will start going up.

It’s a car that’s brought me so much enjoyment! I don’t think there can be many cars that will put as much of a smile on my face as that thing!

Speaking with my dad about it, and the 197’s/200’s just don’t really make that much money at the minute... and my dad talks of cars he owned when he was younger and what they’re worth now! Minivan trucks, Escorts etc!

Plus I know if I’m lucky enough to still be around in another 20 years that if I see one on the road I’d be desperate to want to drive it!

Really frustrating that after 4 years of ownership the bodywork has survived, then as soon as I start planning to look after it some Frenchman has a proper good go on the wing! Heyho, but nothing that can’t be put right, by the right people!

Sounds like the mileage is keeping nice and low on yours, and having use of other vehicles definitely helps on that front! I bought mine on 8,000 miles and now sitting pretty on 73,000!
