went to ric wood in stockport today with the fiat coupe owners club and had a dyno run

the old girl pulled 202bhp :thumbup::thumbup:

and what a set up - machine shop - aladdins cave jobbie :thumbup1:

and it wasnt as if they were all over reading as we had a comparison of a megane that was done by rs tuning

mine - 202
eddies - 210
trophy - 192
182 - 190

Its weird because the clios are up on RS Tuning.

But the meganes are down!

mileage definately makes a massive difference on the F4R engine.

engines going bang?? in a good way?
that is massively different result to RS though, you just dont know who to believe lol

the guy yesterday has his own engine dynometer room and machine shop with cnc machines etc

does alot of work for so called engine tuners - basically they are his heads/engines sold under their names

the rolling road set up was very good - and of the other renaultsports he has tested he said they make the power

we also got a proper dyno run down to calculate transmission drag

he was very confident on the figures - he has done some work for factory teams and needs accurate repeatable figures......and seeing mine did 202 i have to believe him :w00t:
