Evening folks, as I’ve had it for just over a year now and done a few mods i thought i’d start a little thread.

Bought it last year off my mate as a none runner after it refused to start following a tap in the rear at Snetterton ☹️

First off was to find out why it wouldn’t start.

Turned out the throttle body was seized shut....unsure if it was related to the knock the car had??

So began my first purchase off the classifieds with a replacement item courtesy of @Pav

With the belts/service already done, it was MOT’d ready for trackday at Castle Combe with the RSOC (i’m a Ford/Cosworth man at heart).

Well what a laugh !! With just a set of A048Rs to go with the refreshed brakes (DS3000 + SRF + Hel lines) the car performed faultlessly apart from ending the day with a cracked/blowing manifold.

i got a manifold off @Dystant and fitted new flexibles to replace the broken one.

Then a alcantara steering wheel off @Faultless to go with a couple of sets of standard 197 wheels off @Benno and @Stevedjwright

Then it was time for the do i / don’t i question.....

A clunk at the front turned out to be a broken spring which was replace with a set of Eibachs off @Benno and soon to be joined with a set of Cup dampers off @suj

And the mandatory Renaultsport front splitter from @eurospec

Latest mod is a stud/nut kit from TRS. Thanks again to @suj for the info on lengths required and the discount code still works ! C53D0E2A-2655-4A00-A5B1-E3AFFB48997E.jpeg

Did a day at Llandow in South Wales yesterday, first time there and although not that big, it was loads of fun !

Mate was in his 182, and there was couple more silver 182s and another Albi blue 200.

Car ran faultlessly all day apart from loosing my drivers Heko on way home.....its on the M6 if anyone wants it !

Another great day with the RSOC at Castle Combe, fitted the car with a fresh set of AD08Rs in 225/45/17 to replace the old AO48Rs that were 12 years old lol!

Had a quick geometry check after i replaced the passenger track rod end

Couple of Mk2 Clios on track going very well !
