My car has the power folding mirrors unfortunately the case on my drivers side is damaged. I’m struggling to find a replacement.

Is it possible to dismantle the mirrors and replace just the housing into a non folding model?

Has anybody done this? Or know if it’s possible at all?

The anwser to this is no. The 2 mirrors are very different inside and not interchangeable.

Apologies, meant to post the same thing but forgot about the thread. You can only take off the rear painted cover and mirror from the side mirror unit. I couldn't find a way to split apart the mirror units.

Got a new one from RPD for £150 reasonable i thought.

Breakers have none, if they even believe a clio had power fold mirrors.

I have a pair of power fold mirrors the problem you will have if there are different manufacturers supplying the same part such as headlights the internals maybe different but the outward components look the same. Power fold mirrors can be spotted by the number of pins in the connector some eBay sellers don't know what they are selling.
