Request: colour match for matt silver handles (standard)

I've searched to dry and find an answer but with no joy...

Has anyone had luck in matching the door handle colour? I've got a small mark on mine (paint looks wafer thin) and would like to touch in.

Alternatively, has anyone had theirs successfully wrapped?

I would also like to know, and yes the paint is damn thin.

Never had a problem before when washing my car but the other day the pressure washer removed some of the paint from mine.

I very doubt theres a paint code......atleast i dont know of one, probably could match it if i had an example...or atleast get close. Personally id drop them off to us and get them colour coded, saves the bother....durable decent paint depth.

That's not a bad idea, I might buy some new ones and get them sprayed as the black handles are around £20 (7701475753) and the chrome effect are almost £60 (7701478162).

The black handles are textured though so would need a little more preperation.

Thanks @ smithandroper - don't want to have to remove the handles, the car is practically brand new so a while before I start pulling doorcards off etc.!

Possibly where the price difference comes from, I just assumed they were the same just with a key hole that could be replaced with a button.
