Replacing Rear Brake Discs and Pads

Hi All,

As the title suggests, I'm looking at replacing the rear Discs and pads on my 197, Does anyone know a reliable place I can pick some up?

ebay or mtec..would go standard unless you track your car often..

Try all of these and see which is cheapest. For rears I woukd stick with genuine Renault for the decent quality bearing.

I got my rear disks and pads from Renault Parts Direct, and the good disks too. Came to about £196 all in I think.

I don't see any reason to choose anything other than the OEM gear on the rear, budget permitting.

Would agree as the majority of braking is done at the front. I must say I love the look of the R26.R grooved discs front and rear though and are on my wish list just for sheer bling.

Agree with all the above, the rear does so little braking it's not worth an upgrade. Keep it OEM or good quality AME and you'll be fine

The OEM rear discs are some of the more expensive ones.

The OEM rear discs are some of the more expensive ones.

They also have inadequate rust protection, so if you go for the OEM discs, give them a coat of hammerite.
