Replacement key carc cannot be programmed

Evening all.
2007 197 key card playing up no keyless entry and dash saying replace battery.
Card either has to be in slot or in tray underneath to detect.
Replaced battery no difference. (New battery in card and new battery on car)
Bought brand new genuine keycard from Renault they couldn't program it.
Tried auto locksmiths (who's normal a1).
He couldnt do it .
Saying no communication.
No codes stored.
Any body any ideas.

What... they couldn't program it? Why don't you return it / request a new one? Or at least demand your money back. Probably that key card is partially broken.
