did it last weekend, get her jacked up on stands as high as you can, wheels off, loosen off the maniflold 9 nuts, dissconect the battray,
take off the long sort of dog bone shaped metal plate that hold the sub frame to the car, then unbolt the strenghener plate from the sub frame, four 13mm nuts, then pull back the arch spat, and there is one long bolt each side that hold the sub frame to the chassie, unbolt the engine from the sub frame, ie bottom gear box mount, then there are two bolts that hold the steering rack inplace, take them off, then the sub frame should be resting on two locating spikes, get a bar and move them apart and the sub frame should come to rest about 6 to 8 inches from where it was, move the steering rack away unbolt the clamp on the exhuast, the is the lamda sensor to unplug, and the is the heat sheald from the starter to take off get a mate to give you a hand with pushing the engine froward, it is now hanging on the two engine mounts, push it toward the front of the car, and wresle the manifould down and out, dont worry about bending the heat sheald onthe bulkhead, sort it later, a few twists, turns and pulls and should come out with out much of a fight,
