Rear wheels don't stick out the same?

just fitted a set of H&R 16mm spacers to the Raider, and since fitting noticed that the drivers side rear wheel does not sit flush with the rear arch unlike the passenger side that does sit flush.

Prior to that I had a set of B14 coilovers fitted.

Wheel alignment getting done next week with 2 new front tyres.

I'm really worried about the rear wheel, it's about 10mm difference!

Anyone got any experience of this issue?

Not the answer to your question but - Please check your 16mm spacer sits correctly on the hub. We tried some from another manufacturer and they didn't sit correctly. In the end we had 20mm spacers machined down to 18mm.

It's fitted correctly.

Did you measure both spacers? Perhaps they sent you a 25mm and a 16mm...

Have you taken any real-World measurements or dropped a plumb-line down off the arches etc to be 100& sure each side is different ?

A few here are referring to your picture, im presuming you have something more 'concrete' to make you worry than just your own looking from behind. Or is t really that obvious in person ?

Any chance one of the rears has a bit more camber, that would put the top of one wheel in or out in comparison. Not sure how much + / - the factory allows, but if your at the opposite extremes on each side it could look a lot.

This sounds very logical to me.

Any measurements taken from bodywork etc should be measured to centre of wheel / hub; this will automatically eradicate any bad readings through excess camber and the top or bottom of one wheel being different to the opposite side. Im not really sure what the best reference point is though (Anyone ????).

If your centres truly are way different - then you clearly may have an issue.

Best get it on an alignment rig and check what's going on

Wheels off, check the centre of the hub face from a common datum, the middle of the rear beam etc, or even the centre of the hub face to a damper or point on the chassis to find what's out
