I need to hunt down the exact source of a leak in rear of headlining (197 with panoramic sunroof). From what I've read it's highly likely the drainage pipe from has detached from roof (Or blocked). The headlining is wreaked but this is a car used for sprints so I don't overly care how it looks. I need to retain the headlining due to regs.

- I need to get behind C and maybe B pillar trim so should disarm airbag. Renault manuals say you use Clip to turn off then disconnect battery. Am I at risk if I am only disconnecting battery then?
- Is there a short cut / agricultural way of getting to rear roof upper drainage points without a full, formal removal of headlining (which manuals show requires a load of stuff to come out beforehand)?
