Question to those with Akrapovic Evolution

Might be a stupid question but do you know the difference between the standard evolution system and an 'open valve' evolution system? Just came across this on the Akrapovic website...

The open valve system obviously sounds better!

The open valve technology is an electronically operated valve that regulates the sound via a button installed into the car.

You basically have a quiet mode and a loud mode. I didn't think the system was available on the Renault kits as yet but I could be wrong. Expect to pay a lot more for these

Never heard of this open valve edition either tbh. I'm only aware of the slip on and EVO..

The only time I've heard of the open valve system is on the Akrapovic app on my iPhone. Though when you go into purchase options they only offer the slip on and evolution systems.

They have this option on the upper end systems like the McLaren and Lamborghini. Wouldn't take much to roll it out to all
