doesn't sound like a Dundee car unless 1st owner bought it elsewhere, or it's a personal plate. Scottish reg no.s start with a letter S on the prefix.

From the paperwork I got with it, it said it was first registered there

Dundee get SP,SS,SR,ST so maybe 1st owner got personalised no. Hope you find the info you need.
