hi guys

just had my new gearbox fitted that's fine now my boot has decided to keep opening when it want's even when doing 70 plus !!!!!! any idea's ????? poxy car is starting to p*ss me off

Water in the boot ingress check these. Common problem and very easily fixed.

you wouldn't know how much renault charge for the new boot switch would ya ??? bet it's something stupid !!!!!!!!!!!

I think it was around £80 I think but not 100% on that.

it's an easy fix

I paid about £30 for the switch when it went on my megane, same issue

I had the problem of the boot not unlocking and it was coming unlocked whilst moving. I just took it out dried it all up with a cloth, gave it a good lashing of WD-40 and re-fitted.

Not had a problem since.
