OK I need something to listen to at work. So, post 3 songs (with youtube links preferably, but not essential);

1. Your favourite song from your favourite band
2. Your favourite song from a band other than your favourite band
3. One guilty pleasure!

1. Oasis - Supersonic

2. Stone Roses - I Wanna Be Adored

3. Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar On Me

Ok hard one as I don't really have a favourite band, but I do have a wide taste of music So ill post 2 of my favourite song songs!!

The killers mr bright side

Chase and status end credits

Guilty pleasure?? Hmm... Guess I don't mind a bit of Katy Perry...

All Along The Watch Tower - Jimi Hendrix
Rebel Without A Pause - Public Enemy
Energy Flash - Joey Beltram
Telling Stories - The Charlatans
Sit And Wonder (Live at Glastonbury) - The Verve

Sorry I haven't followed the protocol here but I have a wide taste in music and like what I like and not embarrassed to admit it. Grew up listening to The Jam, Madness etc then electro pop then from there onto Rap then the rave scene and Madchester back to the club scene then back to concerts. Best gigs I've been to were Ian Brown at the Barrowlands in Glasgow, The Streets at the Carling Academy in Glasgow and The Prodigy at a rave in Prestwick Airport in the '90s.

Mezzanine is my favourite Massive Attack album with Angel being the stand out track.

I never "bonded" with that LP, I was more into Blue Lines and Protection is a killer from there other good LP. I remember getting Blue Lines on the day it came out based on a review that heralded them as Bristols Finest, and I believe they were right. What a great time for music back then.

Safe from Harm - another epic Massive Attack track. The list goes on. Search for Battlebox 001 live from Brussels.

I don't have a favourite band either, I like all kinds of stuff.

Bryan Adams - Heaven. Being an 80s child I grew up listening to his stuff and I've seen him live 4 times (could possibly be classed as a guilty pleasure also...)

REM - Nightswimming. Just love this song, but don't really like REM as a band.

Guilty pleasure
Jennifer Rush - Power of Love (no comment really....)

Thought I'd give this a bit of a bump, as I was listening to some stuff on YT today

Mary - Patty Griffin. Heard this for the first time in Sons of Anarchy, in one of best scenes. Now one of my favourite songs.

Signal Fire - Snow Patrol. I can take or leave Snow Patrol, but I'm very fond of this song. Good video too, if you like the Spider-Man movies

Kiss - Crazy Nights

One for the older cool kids - from the 80s but so ahead of time.

The Smiths - How Soon Is Now

One for the younger cooler kids - lazy story telling at its best.

Ghostpoet - Us Against Whatever Ever

1. Charles Bradley - The World (Is Going Up In Flames)

2. Little Simz - Problems (W. Space Age)

3. Stephan Bodzin & Marc Romboy - Phobos (Pan-Pot Remix)

I've so much more but you only asked for three tracks.

Addaddadd...

Biz - El Fuego

The Budos Band - Magus Mountain

Too Many Zoos - Inward (feat. Famey & EndaStory)

Ben Klock - Underneath

The Blaze - Territory

Nick Waterhouse - This Is A Game

Chet Faker - Gold

Clams Casino - All Nite (feat. Vince Staples)

Johannes Heil - A Holo Static

Kaiju - Hunter (feat. Flowdan)
