I had a spare half hour earlier couldn't get logged in or even load a game up for error messages! I hope its not a permanent thing or a virus etc! Expensive mistake otherwise!

I'm sure they'll fix it, and hopefully soon! Hope there is some sort of reimbursement for the trouble Sony have cuased!

Ok so the reasoning behind this is; Fat PS3's though that this year was a Leap Year so the console thought it was 29/02/2010 and the PSN was telling it 01/03/2010 so they gave up arguing and shut down lol!

It has been fixed by...

...waiting until midnight!!!

mine is a launch day fat one -60Gb backwards compatible. Never used for gaming as I prefer my xbox, bluray only.
