Perished door seals

Did a quick search and found nothing

Ive read this is quite common, I was just wondering

Can you fix it?
How do you fix it?
Is it a window out job?

I noticed the drivers side is quite bad

Then went to check how bad the passenger side was....

Lol! Completely torn off.

Any advice?

Cheers

its just a seal with sticky back on, the old should pull out, clean the old sticky off the glass and pull the backing off the old one and fit in place

It's a clio thing, not just a renaultsport thing, i have a 1.5 diesel and they are perrished too.

id imagine so, im gonna message wests renault next week.

so is it just

heat the seals
pull them out
wipe the sticky off
put new seals in?

You have to be a member mate £5 and you get all the benefits
You will pay a lot more in the long run

There was a group buy started a while back, time to get it going again, i need one still.

They are covered by warranty if it is still in warranty of course, I had mine replaced no problem.

Aah, I was gonna hold off being a member, I figured I'm a member on ca and the knowledge/tips from here and there are interchangeable. I could be wrong though

Gonna dig my warrenty out when I get back to Wigan and see if these are covered

Thanks for the link

The door seals on our 200 are going this way. Still got 1 year left of warranty so will get to the dealers.

Looks like an easy fix anyway.
