Painting front grilles. Anyone done it?

Sure I've seen on here that someone painted their front grilles due to fading. I've tried numerous products to keep them black, but they are an arse to do every time! Any advice on paint used would be great.

Doing mine. Plastic primer first then a few coats of satin black. Then going to have a go with a carbon look hydrographics kit I got off the bay.

I used halfords paint.

3 coats of primer lightly applied. 2 coats of sating black.

They just pop out, get something under the bottom corner and they should come out easy enough. Can't remember what I used on mine but make sure you wrap a cloth around it or something to prevent any paintwork damage.

satin black is the best solution! be sure to use plastic primer, it's transparent so if you do ever get stone chips you won't see gray primer underneath.

B&Q do an all in one primer and paint now. I'm sure that'll be ok

I bought Halfords gloss black and grey plastic primer. Here's the guide:

Dot bother, they will be chipped to hell in 12 months time. Best to use some g techniq C4 or the like
