New Ring Record

The Porsche 918 set a new record around the ring. 6mins 57secs, now the Porsche is a lot heavier and has less power than the Ferrari La Ferrari and the McLaren P1. How fast will they go?
But check the vid because that Porsche is fast, a couple of times it hit 300kph!
Bets on the other two times? Mine are:

McLaren P1 = 6mins 45secs
La Ferrari = 6mins 35secs

pipped the Radical SR8 by a second, which is still a great achievement....
watching the SR8 video made me feel it was being played on fast forward.

the best ive experienced around the ring on a closed trackday was 8.05, which was pretty darn quick, until you then realise our times were only BTG, not including the full main straight.
those cars (Porker & SR8 ) are ridiculously quick in comparism.

Its rumored that a P1 has already posted an unofficial time of 6:33.26.. However sources at McLaren now deny this and say its mealy their target.

I don't expect the porker to hold its laurels for long. Saying that I don't think it'll be too long before someone beats Stefan Bellof's record 6:11.13 run in a Porsche 956 race car

That will be a scary day. Because that is mind blowing fast. Could a normal person think fast enough? lol
