MPG computer

My MPG on the computer has not moved for over 2 months now, it seems to be stuck on the 26mpg mark, has any one else had this problem?

How long since you reset it? If it has been some time then small changes to your driving style may not alter it, as it is the average singe the last reset.

how do you reset it. I push the 2 small buttons on the end of the stalk to reset the trip when i fill it up

That will just reset the Mileage.

To reset the MPG, scroll through the menu so that MPG is displayed on screen or so that Fuel Used is displayed on screen and then hold the buttons.

if you press the button until you get to either the mpg or gallons used and press and hold the end button it resets the trip computer, but it reset seperate to the milage counter

so if i do this it will only do the MPG then and not the ,ilage and service bit?

The Mileage resets seperately to the MPG/Fuel Used.

For the 1st mile after resetting you can get over 40mpg, bingo....
