Please help.!!!

Hi everybody.

I'm after your help please finding a car.

I'm looking for a MK2 Megane convertible.(same shape as 225)
Around a 2008 plate but more bothered about mileage than age.
Less than 30k miles
Must have leather(not beige or cream)
Ideally 1.6 petrol but coincided any except 2.0lt petrol.
As many options as poss, like keyless entry.
Any colour considered but prefer a dark grey or black.
Not wanting to pay more than £7k ish.

anybody had any experience of mk2 megane convertable(same shape as the 225 megsport)
thinking of selling the focus to free up some cash and getting one for the summer.
not wanting the 2.0lt petrol and would like leather.
anyone know of a nice one for sale.?

I had one, 1.6petrol

grossly underpowered, but nice motor. Not practical with kids at all (with car seats)

Seem to have held their value since I traded in for the 197. Which is just bloody typical!
 
I know someone who's been thinking of selling, as far as I know at moment one owner, 1.6 petrol, black with cream leather, can't imagine it's done many miles, 2005 I think, can ask her if she's still thinking about it if you're interested?

Black
Full red leather
Going to look at it tomorrow.

Anybody know how much the road tax is per year on this.?

check that the roof is water tight.......

good friend of mine had one and it leaked so much it ruined the interior seats and trim and took the dealer ages to sort!!!
 
Will be doing Si, know about that being a common Problem.
As far as I know it's had 1 owner from new so after haviving a car 4 years you would think she was happy with it.

Plans to fit v2's and a meg 230 front bumper(if I can find one)

Thanks, looks like a nice car(except like you say,the colour)

Would make it easier financially if it was a dealers.
 
Yeah ive seen that site.
Thinking to keep cost down I may go for GT rear bumper centre section.
 
There were a few with RS bumpers on at the National meet last year and they looked great.

Well the deal was done yesterday and now the proud owner of the above car.

Waiting till end of the month to pick her up do I don't lose out on 2 weeks road tax.

So will be back in a Renault for FCS :smile:

Found a front bumper already :wink:
Want some cheap 18" wheels.
And can someone help me find some springs or coilovers to lower it please.
