I really really cant wait for the nurburgring now, with it being the World Series that weekend it looks like Renault are wanting to set a new lap record on the Friday before...

So what do we think is under the bonnet now??? 275bhp, 300bhp....

Note 0:35 tyres look to be almost on the limit which would make sense if they're going for another record, the r26.r could cheat as they came with R888s.

To me it looks like suspension and engine tweaks, along with and 'out with the old, in with the new' in the vid.... Would be great to claim the 'Ring crown for the Renault brand again!

Also to beat the R26.R it will have to go faster than 8:16.9...

Thank you but if you look the rs250 is 3 seconds slower than the focus rs around the ring. Surely that can't be right

It is very much a power track though so it might well be when the Meg is '50bhp' down! 3 seconds over that distance isn't much, but it would be better to be the other way around!
