Mapping - specifically crackle map

Looking for some advice - I'd like to get the car (197) mapped to both
-Smooth power delivery
-Add a crackle when coming off the power

If you've mapped you car, where did you go? Would you recommend them? How much did you pay?

Did you go for either of the above reasons and how did the map meet your expectations? Have their been any negative consequences of the map? What was the associated cost in insurance (assuming it was declared to the insurance company)

EFI Parts could map the car for you to include both things

Have you removed your cat? If not, a crackle map will ruin the cat so is not doable...

No decent mapper should do a 'crackle' map if you have a cat fitted for the reason stated above - the unburnt fuel will destroy the cat.

Just fit a decent exhaust system and you will get the crackles anyway
