Lubrication of axle when changing rear discs

Guys quick question when changing a rear disc on a 192 is there any reason why th axle can't be lubricated with an LM high temp grease ? When I removed the old one it appears the axle is only lubricated with oil.

axle lubricated with oil...which bit...only "lubrication" is in the wheel bearing...if you mean stub axle where the disc/bearing slide on i only give it a spray with wd40 so they slide on ok & dont corrode

Yes I am talking about the stub axle.
