LED headlight bulbs

I've got projector headlamps in my car but my lass's car doesn't come with them. Although her car's headlamps work as they should there is still a noticeable difference between the 2 cars in the dark, the lrojectors are much better. She isn't interest in changing the headlights to projectors so I'm looking for another option to give a better output. I fitted a HID kit in a non projector car in the past but it just ruined the headlamp pattern so they came straight back out.

Ive been reading up about LED headlamp bulbs but am hoping someone has experience of these. Which kits are best and how did they compare to a traditional bulb and against a HID projector?
