hi
what are the differences between the two?

seen few posts on this subject but not a definite answer.
cheers

there are 2 sensors in the exhaust - before & after cat - the first is the important one as it controls mixture/fuelling

the second one basically monitors the first for "emission" failures part of the euro 2-3-4-5-6 emission regulations and the reason why theres an emissions failure warning light

iirc the first is also heated as this makes it faster to control emissions and one of the reasons why the 197/200 engine is a bit rough when cold as it runs very little vvt and will also retard the timing so the exhaust gases are hotter to heat the cat up so it can "clean" the exhaust gases...a bit simplistic but hope thats what your asking

Wait wait,
One is the first sen and the other one is the second?
I know there is before and after(pre cat and between 1st cat to 2nd cat) but according to the photos they both went to on the same place.
Thats why i was wondering (like there is two versions for the same place ,in that case the before one)

1st on manifold where the manifold goes to just 2 branches before the cats

2nd is after the cats and is fitted between cats & centre silencer

Yeah as i said.
I know where they belongs to .
I just didnt know these two part no. Are for the 1st and the 2nd (i thought these are for the first sensor that has two different part no. )
:smile:

i just looked at the exhaust mechanical graph and from what i can see it goes like that:
7700107433= the first lambda sensor
8200830903=second lambda sensor
if someone might need :wink:

does anyone know if this is the right one for a 200 (March 2010) pre cat lambda?

Check if it suit the part numbers i wrote above.
As i can see from the pic it doesnt.
In this price i would prefer to buy genuine!
- how ever if its a bosch's part i suppose you can put the oe part number in their site or the vehicle details and it will show you the correct one with their pt.no too.

Yea if you don't want to order the wrong part get under the car with a brillo pad or similar to remove some corrosion from the body of the lambda the part number is stamped on the body of it. The connector runs forward parallel to the manifold and the connector is directly above the steering rack as you can see the green dot slightly left of centre. To be honest if you could see the lambda follow the cable it's not that hard.upload_2017-2-27_11-49-16.png

Picture is an example of the writing but find the genuine possible numbers first as last owner might have fitted the wrong part before.

Yours doesnt seem like genuine part [emoji15]

Its a picture showing the part numbers stamped on the body of the Lambda that's why I typed "Picture is an example of the writing " but I did finish the sentence wrong so I'll fix that.

Took a quick look at my Lambda this evening, also run up euro car parts and gave them a Renault part number of - 8200830903 that goes to part number - 710746015 (Bosch)

In the photo I got from Renault

number 1 is part number - 7700107043

number 8 is part number - 8200830903
