Is There Anyway To Do A Background Check-Up Of A 200?

Hi all, about to go and see a clio this week and I have the reg number and I wondered if anyone knows of anyway to contact Renault to confirm the history of the car (when sold/with what optional extras etc).

If anyone knows of anything please let me know!
