iPhone 5 vs Galaxy S III Drop test

Some may see it as pointless but during a load of the 'iPhone 5 vs Android (especially the SIII)' arguments, a load of people (not on the site) just kept referring to how easily the 5's screen would break. But it seems quite strong for a change.

That's cos they use a Samsung screen probably lol

The irony of it all cracks me up.

The samsung screen would of broke in the first test if it wasnt for the fact he was dropping it on its face rather then on its edge like he did with iphone. This is already know aa a friend of mine has one, says it cracks evertime you drop it, and she ay the tallest of people

Regardless, screens are a cheap and easy repair.

As is the case.

Well on the iPhone anyway, not sue on the s3.

Apple now use screens made by sharp (I think) apple and Samsung are cutting all ties with each other for obvious reasons

its not actually the screen breaking though, its the digitizer.

The lcd sits bellow it and is made by sharp or sanyo, i forget which.

they may well do, they use a lot of LG panels in there TV's.

But like i say it is NOT the LCD breaking, it is the digitizer that sits on top of the lcd.
