Yeah it only took about ten minutes in total. I used some dental floss to 'saw' the letters off. Then I picked the sticky crap off with my finger nail, cleaned it up with autoglym tar remover, then polished it up.

Seems like too much hard work. I managed to deTwingo my twingo with a jet wash.

I'll have a crack when the weather suits

Make sure you heat the letters up before removing them, and once the letters are off it's 10x easier to remove the residue if it's hot. You'll also be less likely to damage the paint work as well as you won't have to pick/scrub as hard.
