hot start problem

Hi all, just got a 197 (2007) and noticed on a hot start it will sometimes splutter and die. If I start again with a bit of throttle its fine. Runs fine no hesitation and power seems ok.

any thoughts? cheers.

Throttle body may need a clean? Have a look at this thread for a bit of info.

Also check the condition of your plugs.

I just replaced the thermostat and lambda sensor. While doing so I checked the throttle body and it was pretty clean. Gave it a wipe anyway. Also checked the intake pipe etc.

(start problem was there before and after the stat/lambda swap).

Not checked plugs, assumed they would cause a miss or something quicker than a starting issue. Absolutely no problems once its started and moved off.

MAP sensor give this kind of bother? There is no MAF right?
