HIDs out for Warranty Work?

If I have a HID kit fitted should I remove it if the car goes in for warranty work like people do with other modifications?

Would this void any part of the warranty as its virtually the same as just swapping headlight bulbs?

Is the warranty work related to the headlights or electrical system? If not then it should be fine.

similar to if you took it in for replacement of a wheel bearing, if you had lowering springs you would want to remove them before hand.

The work is to replace my external temperature sensor as it is reading really high.
