hi guys, new to the forum looking to build a meglio into a 2005 mk3 1.4, any pointers would be great

Welcome to the site.
The only pointer I would give would be not to bother with a base model and do the conversion into a 197 or 200 as the knowledge base is there.

More to the point you would have a 1.4 Clio with far more power than the brakes or suspension was ever intended to cope with. While the wide front wings are bolt on, the wide rear was unique bodywork.
