Help Please - Battery Connection Causing Problems

Hi All,

Has anybody else had problems with their battery connections working loose? It's happened to me for the 2nd time and this time the traction control says it's switched off and I can't turn it back on. Any Ideas what to do?

If the battery has been disconnected the traction control should reset as soon as you drive off.

Hi Mark, yeah it did reset itself. My battery seems to have alot of movement meaning the connections can be shaken loose, any idea how to stop it happening?

I know it's obvious but have you checked the bolt is tight that holds the battery clamp down to the bottom of the battery housing? Also to reset the traction control, start the car after you have reconnected the battery and turn the steering wheel to full lock on one side then full lock the other and back to centre and this will also reset it.

The bolt is fully tight but it looks like the was meant to be some sort of washer in between, is that right?
