help asap check injection

Willis hasn't been selling faulty products again has he?

I had that problem when I tried a 64mm on mine. Whenever I went over 4000rpm it went into limp home mode. It didn't improve after a couple of days so I took it off and sold it.

Should be absolutely fine that J, my car was last drove about a week ago with that on and it's been on for nearly a year with no issues.

Double check the sensor and make sure there's no sh!t or anything stuck to it.

I think any issues people have with these throttle bodies are not the actual TB. Its the ECU throwing a wobbler because something has changed. The ECU sometimes takes a while to settle.

This might help...

so i had this arrive in the post today,

after reading what everyone else's clio's took to them i was a little aprehensive...

so fitted it right away, started the car and it almost died on me, throwing up CHECK INJECTORS, ESP and sapnner light was on...

so i turned it off and left it for 10 minutes started the car up again and there was no change whatsoever i then decided to switch back to the stock TB when i discovered i had forgotten to plug in the cable!

so i pluged it in and thought i'd try my luck.

again there was no change so i turned off the car left it for 5 minutes and went to start it up again.

it did so with an almighty roar and revved upto 3 and a half then came back down to 1 again as its always sat on since having the inlets matched,

left the car running for 10 with no further problems or error lights to be had...

turned the car off and left it for an hour went back out started her up and she started up fine took her out for a road test around camp,

i found that the acceleration is improved and the car feels more powerfull and stronger
its only being used against the standard airbox with the k-tec panel filter so far

will try it from a cold start in the morning and see if there is any difference and report back

thanks for reading

I'm trying to find the guide I did in the original Group Buy thread but it might have been deleted now as it was around a year ago.

Bascially, I fitted it, double checked everything and started the car. Idled like a bag of sh!t for about a minute, so I turned the car off and left her for ten minutes. Went back and started her up again, idled a bit better, left her to it for about five minutes and then turned her off again. Gave it ten minutes, and repeated the process. It was the fourth or fifth start when she idled bang on standard and never had any issues whatsoever after that. I didn't press the accelerator at any point, just left her to figure it out for herself...

That was going from 64mm TB to 63mm TB by the way, but the same thing also worked on the 64mm TB.
