Headlight conversion for driving in continental Europe

Hi All,

I'm thinking of getting a UK-spec 197 (probably 2006-2007) that will be driven quite a lot in continental Europe.

Do the 197's headlights have a mechanism for switching between LHD and RHD beam patterns?

Alternatively, does anyone here have a set of suitable headlight units they want to sell?

Hiya - thanks for the reply.

The impression I got was that most (if not all) 2006/07 197's had xenon projection headlights, and that beam deflectors don't work with them. Is that not true?

I also recall reading somewhere that the UNECE vehicle regs require all xenon units to have a mechanism to convert them to a flat beam pattern...though I can't find that post right now, and don't fancy reading through all the ECE docs to verify this.
