Headlight aim

Is it just me or does the headlight point down quite sharply? I have adjusted it using the manual adjuster but still very low. When I installed the motor I made sure it was wound all the way out.

I'm unsure but I think the ECE standard is 3" drop at 25 feet which it has no hope of achieving.

you really need it on a beam setter to be honest to get them right - or at least up against a wall and compare them to another one

i am so tired of being blinded at night by idiots with porrly aimed lights - just shows how poor some mot tests are done.....anic:

My projector lights and the reflectors I had before are both fine.

Did you make sure you connected the levelling motor correctly? They're quite tricky to get into place

That is what I'm trying to figure out before I take it to somewhere with a beam tester.

What I'm currently getting is a 12" drop at 25 feet. Whereas the MINI with bi xenon is more the ECE standard.

I never measured mine but they appear to be almost flat (Very slight drop). Driving along I see numberplates of oncoming cars lit up a long way ahead.

I presume your lights are projectors aswell from your sig? If so I will have to check everything carefully.
