Handbrake/Rear Caliper

Guys,

Having alot of trouble with the handbrake not releasing on one side.

I've had brand new handbrake cables, but it's definetly related to the handbrake mechanism on the N/S rear caliper which is not releasing.

I've got a seal kit, with the replacement dust cover, and I've read about removing the handbrake plate, from the splined shaft.

Does anyone else know what other internals could be damaged or need replacing?

Is this fixable or generally a replacement caliper?

Thanks,
JAM

make sure the handbrake hasn't been over adjusted..this can cause one side to bind...

My dad just took mine for mot, failed on sticking rear caliper. dad looked at it and it was a build up of muck and rust where pads sit, took caliper off and caliper carrier cleaned it up and copper greased pad edges put back togethor ,perfect. hope this helps.
