Gday! Need help...

Hi Guys

Just purchased my 4th RS, after two previous Clio 182s in the early (2000's) and a Megane R26 F1 (around 2010). Latest is a 2012 RS 200 RB7, with only 30,000kms.

After it arrived to Brisbane from Adelaide though, I noticed it had a strong vibration through the whole car at about 80-100km/h (particularly when on a left hand sweeping bend etc). Tyres were pretty shot, so replaced all 4, with a balance and alignment. Unfortunately the vibration is still with me...

Lots of google search talk about driveshaft or engine mounts (although engine mounts seem in good condition).

Anyone had this or a similar issue?

Any help or guidance would be appreciated as we have limited Renault specialist here in Brisbane thaty I can find and no doubt if I take it to Renault themselves it will be an expensive exploration of the issue,

Wheel bearings check them the drive shafts can give vibration I messed up changed the drivers side drive shaft and did not tighten up the drive shaft nut and did a couple of miles before I remembered I think I pulled the wheel bearing during cornering and damaged it. I have a spare bearing/wheel hub which I need to change out to make sure. You can get a drive shaft easier and cheaper than rebuilding one. Check your brakes and discs the calipers can stick overheat the disc and warp them or build up an edge that can clip the pad edge. The shaft worked out at about £130 a side and are refurbished I got them out of Germany be very carful ordering parts find the part number and search using that as a lot of systems show standard Clio parts and sometimes Mk2 Clio parts wrongly against the Mk3 RS Clio's.

Thanks Guys
That is really helpful and far more informative that I thought someone would be bothered to write
I really appreciate the time and effort

They have been great to deal with and anyone i have referred has had a good experience as well. Let them know Mahomed sent you.

Will check. What should I look for? Do you think this could be creating a build up on one of the wheels?

First thing would be to check for a torn boot over the CV joints on both driveshafts. After that, see if there is any signs of grease leaking out from the boots, and then see if there is excessive play from the joint.
