Done a service and front pads and track rod end on my car tonight, what a c##t the pins were to get out!! Me and my mate ended up cutting the pins on all four sides with a cut off tool then drilled them out, will never let them get like this again (NOT WORTH IT) glad i did them one of the pads had heated up and compound started breaking away from pad!! Would recommend at least a strip down 1-2 a year.

There a guy on here called "Mr pink" who makes some aftermarket brake pins that don't corrode, and make pad changes easier.

I'm doing my front discs and pads in a few months, mines only an 11 plate with 40k on the clock, But i don't think the pads have never been changed so worried they may have seized in. Praying they are ok.
