Front end lower cross member

I needed to remove front end lower cross member in order to get to the oil switch for replacement. I was irked to find i needed to remove both front light clusters so i could undo the bolts (two long 13mm bolts with a 13mm nut at each end). Looking at it now, removing the lights wouldn't be necessary if the bolts were inserted from the bottom not the top. Is there any good reason i shouldn't replace them from the bottom when i put this back together?

Do you mean the crash bar? If so you can undo the 6 bolts that bolt the legs to the chassis instead
