Car
2007 Renault Clio RS 197 - No modifications allowed although tyre pressure adjustment is permitted.

2010 Renault Clio RS 200 - No modifications allowed although tyre pressure adjustment is permitted.

Track
Top Gear Test Track (Full Circuit) - Laps must be flying laps and must be clean. If you're pushing for top times then you may want to use Forza's Hot-Lap feature so you can save replays in your Storefronts, both for non-believers and to help others see where they can improve. Try and keep it clean coming out of Wilson Bend by staying of the red and white paint and keeping to the left of the cones (the game dies not invalidate if you cut that corner but its just plain old bad sportsmanship)

Game/Setup
As for game settings and hardware setup anything goes, steering wheel, controller, ABS/No ABS, Manual, Clutch etc. Use whatever you're fastest with!

Post your times and have a laugh :thumbsup:

I reckon a weekly challenge would be good. Perhaps change the track every week?

But keep the car a 200?

Maybe but this is a Clio 197/200 forum. I'd quite happliy run the 197 (mine is actually faster than the 200) but i think people are interested in the fact the Forza has just added the 200.

Whats the PI differences between the 197s and 200 on Forza. If it aint that big a difference we can make it 197 and 200s?

Yeah 197s and 200s permited, i just cant get on with the 200's front end sorry guys :lol:

But it'd be better if tuning was allowed and limited to 425 ?

Standard is better. That way only tyre pressures can be adjusted.

I can drive the cars well but not tune them, this way only driver skill is gonna get you good times.

Clio 197 = C393

Power = 197bhp
Torque = 158 LB/FT
Weight = 2778 LBS
Front = 64%

Clio 200 = C394

Power = 198bhp
Torque = 159 LB/FT
Weight = 2654 LBS
Front = 63%

Clio 200 should have the edge as it has a weight advantage but oddly i'm faster in the 197.

Problem with tuning is its all down to how good at tuning you are, surely a measure of driver skill is more fun and more fair.

1:26.645 Nowhere near a perfect lap, can't get used to the last two corners.

Is a 200 really 124lbs lighter than a 197? They got the 197s power figures wrong as well.
